So even though the weather is still beautiful, it seems that we have settled in to a fall groove of relaxing and staying in on weekends. Well, this weekend wasn’t much different, but we did go for dinner at our favorite restaurant, the Superior.
Once again, we had such amazing food. Kirby had a pork chop on barley risotto:
and I had some white fish on kale, potatoes and bacon:
For dessert we shared ginger cake and peaches and cream cake.
On Sunday we went for a drive in the country. We drove by a pumpkin patch and I had to take a picture.
We also stopped by a farm stand and grabbed some squash and flowers.
And lastly, we stopped at a bonsai nursery so that Kirby could get a new bonsai. We found this little guy for cheap so he brought it home. It’s a Lonicera Nitida, which is part of the honeysuckle family.
