Back in the East
Wow, it sure has been a while since we last posted anything. And it’s not because we are living boring lives either, it’s more a combination of our disorganization and lack of picture taking. So hopefully, now that we are a little more settled, we’ll be back to regular posts. Here is a small sample of things we have done over the last month and a half.
We discovered that Stanley likes to sleep in the sink when it gets hot.
Kirby and I got to hang out with our friends Jessica and Jeremy and their daughter Emilia.
My mom turned 60!

Kirby drove me around to all of the little ski hills in the area that he’ll be exploring this winter. Needless to say, it’ll be a change from what he’s used to.
And I somehow got us cheap tickets to a sunset harbour cruise in Ottawa. Little did I know at the time, it was basically a ‘booze-cruise’ (you can imagine how happy Kirby was about this) and involved us being trapped on a boat for 3 hours while some paid entertainer forgot the words to Bon Jovi songs (luckily, his Celine Dion covers were spot-on). We did get a neat vantage point of the city, so that was nice.
